A weekend in Derbyshire

It’s often said that ‘there is nowhere prettier in England when you get the weather’. Its true and after a whole night of terrible weather with wind and rain over the weekend of November 2nd and 3rd it brightened up and we had a lovely day at Chatsworth with a walk around the grounds, shops and later a look at the fireworks. The previous nights weather had been so bad that we were told on arrival at the Caravan Club site that the fireworks had been cancelled as it was thought it was going to be just as bad. The wind died down and they cracked on with it.

I thought I’d pop a few photographs in of Chatsworth as it is one of our favourite stopovers – not too far from home and many good walks around the area.

We headed back home afterwards as we had a few errands (incl organising this http://thirteenotwo.wordpress.com/ferrari-f355-spider/ ) to run but despite Saturdays downpours and wind had a very enjoyable weekend.
